The green alert indicates that the post event period elapsed is the same as the pre event period, so viewers know that they are comparing apples and apples. The bars denote an internally defined lapse rate, with blue being the rate prior to the initiative, red reflecting the rate post initiative.
The second chart breaks things down further as it tracks the pre and post initiative feedback codes assigned to lapsing products by customers. It’s a very simple visual which quickly enables stakeholders to realise that the initiative is working.
